Did you go to that one Glenn Gould screening at the Cinematheque? His episode of 'Cities' (I think that was the title) where he takes the camera on a tour of Toronto in the 70s and talks about his fondness of it? If we both missed it, it's totally criminal. We need to source a good copy as Youtube wouldn't do it justice.
I'm pretty familiar with that episode as CityTV used to run the handful of 'Cities' shows ad infinitum at 12 on Saturday afternoons... I really should have gone to that screening.
Weirdest part is when he rhapsodizes about Don Mills. I read in the Cinematheque that he made a lot of things up as he and the crew drove around town filming it.
